Suture, 0/0, 27", PDS™ Plus, Violet Monofilament, CP-1 is an absorbable surgical suture composed of polydioxanone with the antibacterial agent triclosan. This monofilament structure ensures smooth passage through tissue with minimal drag, providing extended wound support in deep and slow-healing tissues.

The antibacterial coating with triclosan actively reduces bacterial colonization on the suture surface. This helps lower the risk of surgical site infections caused by common pathogens, including Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and MRSA. The addition of this agent enhances the wound healing environment and improves clinical outcomes.

The CP-1 needle is a curved, 1/2 circle reverse cutting needle with a length of 36 mm. It provides precise penetration in firm tissues. This configuration is ideal for general soft tissue approximation, including procedures in gynecology, urology, gastrointestinal, and general surgery that demand high tensile strength and infection control.
