The Coated VICRYL RAPIDE™ Suture, Braided, 36", Size 2-0, is a synthetic absorbable surgical suture made from polyglactin 910. Designed for short-term tissue support, it offers rapid absorption while maintaining sufficient tensile strength during the early phases of wound healing. Its coated, braided construction enhances handling and knot security, ensuring ease of use during surgical procedures.

This suture is equipped with a taper point needle, suitable for soft tissue approximation without cutting through the tissue. The needle design allows smooth passage with minimal trauma, making it ideal for use in subcutaneous and mucosal closures where atraumatic handling is essential. The 2-0 size supports medium tissue layers, offering strength with flexibility.
