Description

The Quill™ PDO Suture 2-0 with PS-2 needle (1.4 x 1.4) is a knotless tissue-closure device designed for efficient and secure wound approximation. It features a unique bidirectional barb configuration that anchors tissue along the entire length of the suture, distributing tension evenly without the need for knots. 

Constructed from polydioxanone (PDO), the suture is absorbable and designed to maintain tensile strength during the critical wound healing period. It gradually hydrolyzes within tissue, minimizing the need for suture removal and reducing long-term foreign body presence. The material is biocompatible and commonly used in both internal and dermal applications across multiple surgical specialties.

The suture is equipped with a Diamond Point needle, which facilitates smooth and precise tissue penetration. The PS-2 needle configuration enhances control and accuracy during placement, supporting atraumatic insertion and minimizing tissue disruption.
