The PDS™ II Clear Monofilament Suture, Size 4/0, 18", PS-4 Needle is a synthetic absorbable suture composed of polydioxanone, engineered for extended wound support with predictable absorption. The monofilament construction allows smooth passage through tissue and reduces the potential for harboring bacteria, contributing to a lower risk of infection.

Equipped with a PS-4 reverse cutting needle, the suture is designed to penetrate dense or tough tissues efficiently, such as skin or oral mucosa. The reverse cutting edge enhances control during needle passage while minimizing tissue trauma and reducing risk of tearing during closure. The needle curvature supports precision handling in confined surgical sites.
