It provides results within just 24 minutes when used in the 3M™ Attest™ Auto-reader 490 or 490H models running software version 4.2.7 or higher. This rapid feedback is crucial for streamlining instrument reprocessing workflows while maintaining stringent sterilization assurance.

Optimized for dynamic-air-removal steam sterilization cycles, the indicator is validated for use at 132°C (270°F) for 3 or 4 minutes, and at 135°C (275°F) for 3 minutes. These short-cycle parameters help improve instrument turnaround time without compromising the sterility assurance level, supporting busy clinical and surgical environments.
